Mennonite Furniture Plus Sponsors Braz for the Cause

Mennonite Furniture Plus is committed to supporting London and surrounding communities by sponsoring charitable and not-for-profit organizations. That’s why they did not hesitate to get involved with a very worthy cause in support of breast cancer patients.

Braz for the Cause is a grassroots organization run entirely by volunteers.  Braz raises money year round at a number of local events.  Their mission is to make a difference in the community by providing short-term financial aid for those with a demonstrated need and undergoing breast cancer treatment. Monies raised by Braz do not fund research but directly support breast cancer patients through the Massel-Cruickshank fund by way of the Breast Cancer Patient Support Program (LRCP).  This includes but is not limited to:  child care, anti-pain and nausea medication not covered by insurance, taxi fares, parking, wigs, prostheses and palliative care.
